TERMS OF USE

These Terms govern access to and use of BCR’s official website. By accessing the website or using its features, you agree to use it in accordance with these Terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, you may discontinue use.

Belgo Congo Role, Inc. is a nonprofit organization incorporated in Georgia in 2026. BCR is independent and nonpartisan and is not a government, embassy, consulate, diplomatic representation, government agency, or political party.

You may lawfully use the website to learn about BCR, review programs and publications, contact the organization, submit applications or proposals, register for activities, support BCR where available, and access public resources. Website use grants no authority to represent BCR.

You must not use the website for unlawful activity, fraud, impersonation, false claims of authority, unauthorized access, malware, security interference, improper collection of personal data, infringement, or misuse of BCR content or branding to create a false affiliation, partnership, sponsorship, representation, or endorsement.

Information submitted through forms should be reasonably accurate and relevant. Do not intentionally submit unlawful or malicious content, another person’s personal data without an appropriate basis, confidential material you are not authorized to disclose, or sensitive personal data BCR has not requested. Personal-data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.

Submitting a contact form does not automatically create a contract, professional advisory relationship, partnership, membership, representation relationship, funding obligation, or commitment by BCR to accept a proposal.

Submitting a membership application does not automatically constitute admission. Membership is governed by applicable governing documents, policies, and procedures and does not automatically authorize representation, binding commitments, or official speech on behalf of BCR.

Submitting a partnership or collaboration proposal does not create an official relationship. Such a relationship becomes effective only through applicable authorization procedures and, where necessary, agreements. Participation in a BCR activity does not automatically constitute general endorsement.

Where financial contributions are available, transactions may also be subject to payment-provider terms. BCR does not guarantee tax deductibility unless legally supported. Donations, membership fees, sponsorships, and payments involving consideration may receive different treatment. A contribution does not give a donor control over BCR governance, subject to validly accepted gift restrictions.

Electronic payments may be processed by a third party. BCR does not ask visitors to send full payment-card numbers by email or general forms. Follow only payment instructions published or communicated through official BCR channels.

BCR publications and research materials are provided for institutional, educational, informational, or reflective purposes. Draft, in-development, or consultation documents are not final institutional publications. Views attributed to external authors do not necessarily represent BCR.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, website information is not individualized legal, tax, financial, accounting, investment, or other professional advice and does not replace advice from a qualified professional familiar with the user’s circumstances.

BCR’s name, logo, and distinctive signs must not be used to create an unauthorized impression that BCR supports, partners with, sponsors, represents, or has approved a person, activity, publication, product, or service.

Subject to applicable law, short excerpts from public BCR content may be quoted for legitimate information, education, research, commentary, or discussion with appropriate attribution where required. This does not authorize substantial unauthorized reproduction, commercial redistribution, misleading removal of attribution, or alteration falsely suggesting BCR support.

Submitting an idea, proposal, comment, document, or other content to BCR does not automatically transfer ownership. Substantial use may, where appropriate, be subject to separate authorization or agreement. Submit only content you are authorized to communicate.

Certain publications, photographs, videos, quotations, documents, or resources may belong to third parties and remain subject to their owners’ rights. Their presence does not transfer rights beyond what applicable law or authorization permits.

The website may link to external sites or services. BCR does not necessarily control them and does not guarantee their content, availability, security, or privacy practices. A link does not automatically mean endorsement or partnership.

BCR seeks to publish reasonably accurate and current institutional information, but information may change or contain errors or omissions. BCR may correct, supplement, or update content when appropriate.

BCR seeks to maintain an accessible and reasonably secure website but does not guarantee uninterrupted access or freedom from all technical errors, outages, vulnerabilities, or events beyond reasonable control. Features may be suspended for maintenance, security, or development.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BCR is not responsible for losses or damages resulting solely from misuse of the website, use of information contrary to published notices, or technical circumstances or third-party services beyond BCR’s reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Personal-data processing is governed by BCR’s Privacy & Data Protection Policy. Cookies and similar technologies are described in the Cookie Policy. These documents should be read together with these Terms where relevant.

Users aware of fraudulent use of the BCR name, impersonation, a security issue, or suspicious activity are encouraged to contact BCR. Users must not exploit a vulnerability to access information for which they are not authorized.

BCR may update these Terms for website developments, new features, organizational changes, new policies, or legal/regulatory changes. The published version will state the last-updated date; significant changes may receive additional notice where appropriate.

These Terms govern a website operated by a Georgia nonprofit corporation. Subject to mandatory rules that may apply based on jurisdiction or circumstances, BCR’s internal administration remains governed by its governing documents and applicable law. Nothing is intended to deprive any person of mandatory legal protections.

BCR’s failure to immediately exercise a right or enforce a provision does not necessarily constitute a waiver.

If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable in a particular situation, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms may be published in French, English, and Dutch. BCR seeks substantive consistency and may correct translation inconsistencies to reflect approved institutional content.
